My 9-year old son bought this backpack with his own money. He absolutely loves it -- but after only a month or so of use, one of the zippers came loose from its track, and then a week later the other zipper came loose as well. We managed to fix one of the zippers and it held for exactly 3 days before detaching again. If you're looking for a cute, licensed backpack, this is fine, but don't expect it to be durable or last the school year.
